About

Who trains you matters.

Firearms instruction is one of the few things you buy where the quality of the teaching and the quality of the paperwork both have consequences. Silverline is built around taking both seriously.
The company

What we set out to do

Company story — how Silverline started, and why

Training, certification and investigations sit together here for a practical reason: all three end in a document that somebody else relies on. A qualification record, a permit application, a case report. Work that is only as good as the record it leaves behind is the common thread.

How we work

What to expect

  • Small enough classes that you get corrected, not just watched
  • Range time with an instructor who will tell you what you are doing wrong
  • Qualification records completed and filed as BSIS requires
  • Straight answers about what a permit does and does not let you do
  • No pressure to buy training you do not need

What we are building next

Alex Duran & Devin Stout

Alex Duran and Devin Stout are developing a more advanced security course that goes beyond the BSIS minimum standard and into the work an armed officer actually does.

It incorporates duty handgun work, movement, reloads, engaging multiple targets, and USPSA and defensive shooting concepts applied to a security context — the same competitive and defensive disciplines both instructors train in themselves.
